Price information and general conditions - booking a holiday

A stay at the Mahlknechthütte in the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park is an unforgettable experience for all the family in summer and winter alike.

Prices: The prices quoted are per person per day (on a half-board basis in winter and with breakfast in summer).
For a minimum of 3 overnight stays there is a surcharge of €10.00 per person per day.
The surcharge for single occupancy of a double room is €33.00 per day.
VAT is included in the prices.

Booking confirmation: Reservations are only binding once we have received a deposit of 40%. You can do this by bank transfer or by providing a credit card number.

Cancellation conditions: Life doesn’t always go as planned. In the event of cancellation, the following conditions apply:

- free cancellation up to 50 days before arrival
- 50 to 7 days before arrival: 50% charge
- 7 to 0 days before arrival or in the event of late arrival and early departure: 100% charge

We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.

Travel cancellation insurance: If you arrive late, leave early or do not show up at all for your booked stay, you may incur cancellation fees. To prevent additional charges in such cases, we recommend that you take out our travel cancellation protection.

Dogs: Dogs are welcome to stay with us at the cost of € 20.00 per day. Please note that your four-legged friend has no access to the dining rooms. Please bring your own blanket or basket.  If we find the dog or the dog hair in the bed, there will be an additional charge of €30.00 per day.

Arrival: The rooms are available from 2.00 pm.

Departure: We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 10.00 am.

TV: So that you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains, all of our rooms are television free. On request, we can make a television available to you at a cost of €4.00.

New: We have recently begun offering free wireless internet access.

Breakfast: In summer we open the breakfast buffet from 7.30 to 9.30 am. In winter the breakfast buffet is available from 7.30 to 10.00 am.

Non-smoking refuge: Since July 2005 there has been a complete ban on smoking in public places. We ask that our guests only smoke outdoors or on the balcony.

Payment methods: You are welcome to settle your bill in cash. We also accept credit and debit cards (but not American Express).
